Classic cars trot out before autumn falls

Drive reader John Lawrence — owner of the 1973 Datsun 240Z and 1937 Packard convertible we told you about in the Aug. 30 issue — sent in photos of the Santa Fe Vintage Car Club’s show last Saturday at St. Vincent Regional Medical Center.

Next, stop by the Plaza from 4:15 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, for the LAST CRUISE NIGHT OF THE SEASON. All car people are invited and encouraged to bring their cars, families or both. The SFVCC expects about 80 cars, and there will be cars, music and food.

Also, a group of car people will meet 3 to 7 p.m. Oct. 20 for the “Autumn Cruise of pd bean,” a Cerrillos Road coffee shop. For information, contact Bobby Archuletta at 505-310-4587.
