To the Editor: Is it possible to modify the camera broadcast to allow expanding its size to better display the wonderful views of Santa Fe? Thanks. JD Gordon

Wow - I love watching all the preparation for Spanish Market this weekend. It's great to see the movement and the action instead of still pictures. I take a look most every day to see how things are going downtown. It's wonderful to be living in such a beautiful city! |

Was able to watch the sunrise this morning over Santa Fe via this webcam, and it was BEAUTIFUL!
There are several angles of the Plaza, you just have to have a little patience. It takes about 5 minutes for the camera to cycle completely through all the angles, but the Plaza is definitely included!! And lots of different angles of it too.
Don't need to change a thing, in my opinon. Except maybe add some local music in the background :-)

Please show us the Plaza again as we use it for determining times to visit and as a tourist attraction for friends and relatives. |

Sirs: Thak you for your enhanced Plaza web cam with its multiple views. Some sites with pictures allow a double mouse click to expand the picture to full screen. Is this something that could somehow be done with your views of Santa Fe? It would be fabulous if that were possible. Thanks for looking into that. J. Dell Gordon |

I really enjoy the web cam. I wish I could put it in the corner of my screen so I can glance at it through the day as I'm working. It's like a pleasant mini-break in a hum drum day at work. |

"WOW" is an understatement!
This is truly fantastic! My hat's off to the people (SantaFeHotels.com) that had this vision and made it a reality! The views are great, and anyone who takes the time to check this out, will be booking their flights - a "MUST SEE"! Great job... this is a surefire way to attract visitors to our beautiful city - how could they resist?

Lee, anybody can write and post and jump in any time they want, so why do you say I monopolize? Tell the truth. It's because you can't stand me, huh? C'mon Lee, at least be honest enough and just say it. |

From what I am told a new camera is being installed, that will add new features and a better experience for everyone. That is why the still image is up now. |

The web cam is a wonderful to see, from El Paso, how things look in Santa Fe. Unfortunately, the picture quality has degraded significantly since the last time I checked-in.
Without the flags flying over the Palace, it is hard to tell whether the wind is blowing or not.
Thank you. |

Eldon, it is nice, but now that the snow is gone, the city is reminded that it will cost more to fix all the potholes and parking lots than it would have cost to remove the snow promptly in the first place. |

Web Editor,
I am considering having my own web blog hosted by the www.freenewmexican.com in order to discuss the "Jesus Tomb" and other related topics, such as the lost gospels, some fiction works loosely based on gospels, and a certain other work called, "Don't Know Much About the Bible".
If I do have such a blog, will the posts appear in the recent comments section so that interested parties can contribute? And what rules will be used to guide posters? Can people speak their minds freely or are they allowed to have a delete-fest which has been occurring for little or no reason on this website.
Ideally, I want contributor's comments to appear in the recent comments section, and for people to be able to speak their mind unless it is really, really distasteful, insulting or demeaning to another.
Hi, thanks for posting it here ( I would have moved it, but there's currently not a way to shuffle posts around). This is a little more detailed than I can answer instantaneously, so let me email you later today. I *will*get back to you. |
