Photo Reprint Procedures



1 – Reprints of photographs taken by New Mexican staff are on view through our online gallery www.freenewmexican.com/gallerylist_forsale -- which links to an online store provided by our vendor, Pictopia.com. Various sizes and framing options are available.

2 - Photos taken by freelancers are not for sale by The New Mexican. If you want to order a reprint of a photograph taken by a freelancer we can provide you with the freelancer's phone number.

3 – Only photographs that have been published in The New Mexican can be sold for reprints.

4 – If you can't find the photo you want in our online galleries, please provide the following information:
a – Date of publication
b – Photographer's name
c – Section and page where photograph was published
d – Description of photograph. This should include the cutline (caption).
e – Copy of the photo (preferred).

5 – All photo reprint orders must be prepaid.

6 – The New Mexican will provide reprints no further back than the previous 12 months.

7 – Photo reprints are for personal use only. Reprints are not to be republished/used in any form without permission of the New Mexican Director of Photography or Managing Editor. All photographs taken by New Mexican staff are copyright property of The New Mexican.
