PHOTO SUBMISSIONS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. Describe the event and/or subject, including date and location, and any other details.

2. Please identify yourself. If you have not created an account, please provide contact information (phoneand e-mail address) for verification purposes. Contact information will remain private.

3. Photos must be in raw jpeg format, unedited or modified in any way. Images must not exceed 2 megabytes in size.

4. For 'eyewitness' photos documenting a news event, please send at least two additional images, taken immediately before and after the shot that you're submitting.

5. You may not post images that are obscene or pornographic.

6. You may not contribute information or pictures that violate the property rights of others, including unauthorized copyrighted test, images or programs, trade secrets or other confidential proprietary information, and trademarks or service marks used in an infringing fashion.

7. Content contributions solely focused on the promotion of commercial events or businesses are not permitted.

8. Copyright on materials contributed by SantaFeNewMexican.com members is held by the individual creators.

9. YOU assume responsibility for permission of any and all subjects depicted in submitted images. All postings, messages, text, files, images, graphics, photos, audio clips, sounds, video or other materials (the "Content") posted on, transmitted through, or linked from the Site, are the sole responsibility of the person from whom such Content originated. Such content will not cause injury to any person or entity.

10. You are entirely responsible for all Content that you post, email or otherwise make available through the Site. For all Content provided by you, you agree to indemnify Provider as provided below:

You agree that under no circumstances will SantaFeNewMexican.com or its affiliates be liable in any way for any Content or for any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed or otherwise made available via the Site. You acknowledge that Provider may not pre-screen or approve Content, but that SantaFeNewMexican.com shall have the right (but not the obligation) in its sole discretion to refuse, delete or move any Content that is available via the Site, for violating the letter or spirit of the Terms or for any other reason.

For all such information and material, you grant SantaFeNewMexican.com, its affiliates and related entities, and its affiliated newspaper, a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right and license to use, copy, modify, display, archive, store, distribute, reproduce and create derivative works from such information, in any form, media, software or technology of any kind now existing or developed in the future.

By uploading or otherwise posting any Content on the Site, you represent and warrant: (i) you have read and will abide by these Terms and Conditions, and (ii) that all information you provide is true, accurate, current and complete, and does not violate this agreement.
