New owners seek infusion of 'heart and soul' for Coyote Cafe
The venerable Coyote Cafe, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, is getting new owners who say they plan to return the famed restaurant to its glory days.

WASHINGTON (AP) - Construction of new homes and apartments, defying forecasts of a housing slowdown, shot up in January at the fastest pace in more than three decades.
The National Nuclear Security Administration has delayed an announcement of who will take over management of Los Alamos National Laboratory. Tyler Przybylek, who chairs a group of NNSA employees studying the matter, has requested more time to analyze proposals from two groups competing to take over managing the lab.

LITTLE ROCK, Arkansas - Wal-Mart Stores Inc. said Tuesday its second-quarter profit rose 6 percent, beating Wall Street's earnings expectations but falling short of revenue forecasts as its customers continue to struggle with higher gasoline prices.
The Santa Fe City Council passed an affordable-housing overhaul late Monday and created a new affordable-housing office. However, the much-anticipated discussion on the Entrada Contenta development and the proposed Wal-Mart Supercenter went past midnight.
