July 12, 2007

In November 2006, the Nation overwhelmingly voted for change. The national elections particularly signaled to the Bush Administration that the People wanted a change in regard to Bush's War of Choice in Iraq.

During the following weeks, duly elected Democrats gave Republicans and Independent Joe Lieberman a chance to end the war in Iraq and focus on Bin Laden who attacked the Nation nearly six years ago on 9/11/2001. To date, Bin Laden remains uncaptured and unpunished for his crimes against the United States. Instead, the Republicans remained stubbornly partisan and decided to stay in a conflict which many believe emboldens Bin Laden...a course that costs U.S. taxpayers $126,000,000.00 per day. More importantly and as a result, America's sons and daughters, wives and husbands, Mothers and Fathers are dying and being permanently maimed on a daily basis in Iraq.

In June 2007, the Republicans' decision to continue Bush's War of Choice killed 108 more Patriots.

Here are the average number of Patriots killed per day since January 2007:

January 2.77

February 3.04

March 2.65

April 3.9

May 4.23

June 3.6

As of July 12, 2007, 35 Patriots have been killed averaging 2.92 for the month.

Also on July 12, 2007, George W. Bush gave a press conference in which (at moments) he gleefully answered questions in regard to his war of choice in Iraq and in regard to Al Qaida's alleged empowerment. It is hoped that this film footage will be reviewed by historians and future psychiatrists who may then understand the problems that the United States faces. It should be also acknowledged that as of July 12, 2007, many national polls indicate that over 70% of the citizenry is against continuing on this course in Iraq. And, in fact, the Peoples' will and the voters' will have been thrown aside and ignored.
